  • Terminal server licensing

    Hi,

We have a entreprise license of Hyena 4.1 for 3 users. We installed Hyena on a terminal server. Anytime, that a new user connect to this servers and use Hyena 4.1, he must enter registration key. Can we configure Hyena to do not ask registration information at all new users?

    Thanks,

Sorry for not replying sooner. Sometimes we don't get notified that a new message was posted.

Hyena uses (by default) the HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry area for storing the licensing information. If these users are getting asked each time they run Hyena, you should check to make sure that they can write to this area. If these are NEW users, and you don't want to enter this information each time, there are a couple of ways to do this. The easiest would be to place the REGISTER_KEY.DAT file (found in the installation directory) in the working directory. Hyena will look for it in its installation directory when it runs.
