  • Password Last Set Field?

    Greetings,

For a long time I have used the pwdlastset field with exporter to show the last password update for account (with exporting user info from all DC's enabled and exporting combined last logon enabled as well). I am told now that since our DCs and AD are now Windows 2008 R2, that this is the incorrect field, but cannot find another field that's similar, and Google searches are unsuccessful.

    Can someone set me straight?

    thanks,

    John

    Hello John,

PwdLastSet is still the same, but for LastLogon they added LastLogonTimeStamp. You may not see it in the default list of fields but you can manually add it using the Other option.

      Chuck,

Thanks for the quick reply. Is LastLogonTimeStamp replicated?

      Thanks,

      John

Yes, it is part of AD so will be replicated. Last Logon was stored locally on each controller and not replicated which caused the need to check each controller to get the correct information.
