Exporting Query Based Distro List 'Members'

I can get a great export of members of any type of list or group, except for Query Based Distribution lists. I realize these are different from a standard list, but if I can choose 'List Members' and get a list of the in the right pane, why will the export not work through any means? I've tried the standard Export to Excel, and get 'Encountered and Improper Argument', as well as a few other means of exporting that are available in the menus, with no luck.

Any suggestions?
