Error trying to export

I get the following error message when trying to use exporter pro on Windows 7 (64-bit) and Hyena v8.6 (64-bit):
"Unable to open Hyena configuration file 'C:\Program Files\Hyena\HYENA_EXPORTER_PRO.DAT'. Verify configuration and/or installation. Access is denied."
Otherwise everything works great. Any ideas.

Start Hyena using Run As Administrator and let us know if that helps.

That works. But I want to be able to "Run as different user". By the way that is also an administrator account, but with administrative rights on the objects which I want to export. See my problem here?

You can edit the shortcut for Hyena and check the box to Run this program as an administrator. And you will still be able to use Run as different user.

Found a solution!
I installed Hyena with my ordinary user.
Now I added my other user to the acl for the Hyena program directory with Full Control.

Can't really tell why that changed anything, because the other user was already in that acl through it's Local Admin rights.

Windows 7 restricts what can or can't be done under the Program Files directory, even to admin accounts. Glad you found a solution that works for you!
