I would like to generate a report that will provide me with all HBA WWN's from my Windows boxes. Is there a WMI query that can be used to accomplish this through Hyena?

Re: report WWN from all HBAs
I could not find anything by searching Google for this, but since you have sort of standardized on these cards, I would call QLogic support and ask them if they have a WMI provider for this.Kevin Stanush

Re: report WWN from all HBAs
Thanks for the input guys. I have found that on my Windows 2008 boxes I can use FCINFO from MS to pull needed info on the HBA's but to do the same on Windows 2003 servers will require FCINFO to be installed which I'm not looking forward to doing.
I will check with QLogic support and let you know what I hear.

Re: report WWN from all HBAs
Searching for the fcinfo.exe file yielded information that the tool is WMI based:

Unfortunately, this means that you have to install the tool on all of your servers in order to get the WMI class installed. But that means that once you get fcinfo running, if you can determine the class name its using, you can use Hyena or Exporter Pro to run the same WMI query on all computers at once.Kevin Stanush
