Last Logon - Computer Property

There is a "Last Logon" field in the properties of the computer object. What is this specifically? Is it the last time the user logged on to the local workstation? Domain? Authenticated?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

It's the last time the computer account itself authenticated with the domain. I'm not sure what triggers that, though. Such as each time the computer boots up, or each time a user logs on from that computer.
