Windows 7 and Exporter Pro

Ive been using Windows 7 and Hyena for a bout a week now. The ping function doesnt work unless you change from "ping using raw sockets" to "Ping using ICMP.dll".Everything seems to work fine except for exporter pro. If I higlight an OU, click on export selected objects and lets say just export logged on users. The ping will fail for each and every computer.

Did you change to the ICMP.dll option in Exporter Pro? It's under the General tab.

Yes I did. The ping function will work if you are using Hyena by switching to the ICMP.dll, but when using Exporter Pro it fails. I have tried turning off the firewall too.

In Hyena's PING settings there is an option to Netbios name for ping functions. Check to see if that is checked. Then go back to Exporter Pro on the General tab is also an option for that. Make sure they are set the same way.

I had missed that one!! THANKS!! I looked forever for that properties page and exporter and missed it numerous times. I enabled "netbios" in the properties in Exporter and now its workin like a champ. Thanks for the quick reponse and resolution to this issue. YOU ROCK!
