    Re: report explain nation

The first set of permissions are the access rights on the directory itself, the second set of permissions are what would be inherited by files in that directory. This is an old convention used way back in the days of the old Windows File Manager. If you see an (i), it means that the permissions are inherited from the parent directory.

We don't have a list of the icons, but if you have any questions, let me know and I'll tell you what they mean.

    report explain nation

I am trying to list NTFS permissions for the shares....
on right hand pane in Access column for some entries it's showing twon brakets
    for ex.
    Full Control(all)(all)
    special access (rx)(rx)...
what does 2 different brakets mean?
is there any document which can explain the reports?
like what different icons mean in right hand side etc.
Working...
