My work station is in one domain. I need to get a list of local user on the servers in our resource domain. The domains are both W2003. I am running Hyena 7.2. I have added the resource domain to object manager. When I look in computer-computername-users in the tree window I see all of the local users. I want to generate a reports of this for all the computer

Re: List local user for computers in a different domain
The easiest way to do this is to use Exporter Pro. Display the computers that you want the local users for in the right window, then multi-select as many as you want. Select Tools->Exporter Pro->Export From Selected Objects. Click New... and type in a name for the export, then when you get the Export Configuration Properties dialog, you want to add the Windows NT/Local Users export to the export configuration and set any options on this export. Click OK, and back in Hyena click Start Export.Kevin Stanush

Re: List local user for computers in a different domain
When I do this I get access denied. I think it is using the credebtials from my work station not the credentials I use to connect to the other domain. How do I make exporter pro use the other domains credentials when connecting to the servers in the other domain

Re: List local user for computers in a different domain
I missed that part; it is a problem. There isn't any way to tell Exporter Pro about the credentials because we have no secure way to store them. You would probably have to run Exporter Pro by itself under a Run As or alternate credentials. You then can add your domain into Exporter Pro and have it find the computers and perform the same export task.
Let me know if you have trouble getting things to work that way.Kevin Stanush
