  • Software Reports

I used Win32_Product feature to list software installed on computers, however, it runs slow and does not work well with multiple machines. Also, it does not list all software installed on the machines, I notice there are software installed but not listed using Win32_Product feature.

How do I use Hyena to generate a complete list of software installed on computers?

Please advice and thanks in advance.

    Re: Software Reports

The Registry exports seem to produce the best information as they come from the uninstall key. Exporter Pro has one called Installed Software Applications under Registry that you can run.

It comes with Hyena. You can select the computers you want this information on in Hyena, then go to Tools->Exporter Pro->Export From Selected Objects. Click the Settings button, the expand Registry and enable Installed Software Applications. Click Close and then Start Export. When it's finished running you'll be able to open the output file with Excel.
