DumpSec csv is gibberish

When I ran a DumpSec report on share permissions on a Windows 2003 server I specified the output to be a csv. It output the share names fine, but everything else was "gibberish". Just a bunch of weird characters. Like this:

$ @أ؟أ¾أ؟\ \ e a r l y s v i l l e d c f s

What happened?

Send a copy of your output file and all settings you used to run it to [email protected] and we'll have a look.

Well.... I figured out I had the syntax wrong so it defaulted to the native output. When I renamed it to a .dlc and opened it in the program, it worked fine.
