Is there a way to query Hyena to show which users have missing attributes? For instance, have Hyena tell me all the users that do not have there phone number listed? I have seen some other software that does that, but I can only seem to get Hyena to display fields that it finds, not that it does not find.

Re: Missing Attribute Report
I'm not sure that I understand the problem. Hyena's AD query displays will display the same row/column of information for all users, so if a user, group, etc. is missing an attribute, the 'cell' for that attribute in the right window display will be empty. An empty cell means that the attribute is not in the directory, since AD does not store blank or missing values.
You can of course sort of the column, and the empty values can be displayed first or last.
The new query filter mechanism added in the last release also supports asking for a value that is 'not present' in the directory. This is a Microsoft-designed query mechanism, but it should work for finding attributes that have not been set.
Let us know where and how you are looking for this missing attributes.Kevin Stanush

Re: Missing Attribute Report
I understand what you are saying in your post. We are in the middle of cleaning up AD, and we are hoping hyena will help. For instance, we have some users that have an employe number and some that do not. We want to query the ones that do not, and then add that information in. I will play around with what you mentioned.

Re: Missing Attribute Report
The only way that I can think of to 'query' for items that do not have a value is to use the new Filtering mechanism for OU queries. But I think an easier way is to just include the attributes that you want, then sort on them in the GUI, the 'missing' ones will sort to the top/bottom.Kevin Stanush
