Okay, I'm still not sure where this attribute is set, but I'm going to assume it is a user attribute? If it is, did you add it to one of the user queries, such as the All Users queries?

                  Re: Added search attribute

Its not clear what you mean by "it did not produce any results". When you added this attribute to the query, and then run the query, a new column should be visible for the new column. Did you get the "msExchOmaAdminWirelessEnable" column ?

Normally, this column will probably have a blank value, as I suspect that most objects won't have it set.

When you right click on a user, select 'Query Active Directory', then 'View All Directory Attributes', is there a value for "msExchOmaAdminWirelessEnable" ? This assumes you are using v7.0; an earlier version has a similar option under different menu items.

                    Re: Added search attribute

The column does appear in the query. However is does not have any results in the report. It is completely blank for all employees in the directory. The Attrib has a setting of enable or disabled in the directory for every user. Is there any way to see the results?

                        I am using 6.7

                        rclicked
                        manage directory attribute
                        selected all added attributes
--msExchOmaAdminWirelessEnable appeared on the list but had no value after i hit ok
other attributes appeared for different values.

                          Re: Added search attribute

Will you please follow the instructions above and see what the values are for all attributes in the directory for a given user object ? The 'View All' option will provide us that information; we can't provide any help until we have this information.

If using v6.7, its the Listing Views->User (All) option.

Just because a GUI dialog shows a true/falue value does not mean that the object has this attribute set. The GUI could just be providing a default, whereas the actual value is not stored at all.

                              Re: Added search attribute

Since the 'msExchOmaAdminWirelessEnable' attribute is not in the above list, its not stored in AD for this particular user.

Possibly, for a user with this feature enabled, it might be. Or, if its enabled by default, then a disabled user might have the value set. It might be either a number (0, 1, or -1) or be a true/false value.

The reason its blank on your queries is because its not present in the directory for the objects that you are looking at.
