Hyena won't ever offer any sort of agent. That would be a separate product.

Any plans for a small hyena agent on the workstation, in the task bar or something. That would be great, allowing hyena to be an asset/inventory management tool?

This feature can't be added to Hyena because Hyena is by nature an interactive application. It has no provisions for running in an non-interactive way and no way to specify what you want to do. Exporter Pro was designed for this, so that you can create a configuration to export anything that you want and have it dump the information into a text file. You can then have a bulk-copy operation dump into SQL. We may in the future add this option directly into the application, but the advantage of a text file is that you can run any database you want to and just import it.

That still won't solve the problem of a computer being turned off, but if you run something nightly, at least you can pick up any new/missing entries from previous days.

Can we request a feature for the next update? That hyena can save queries to SQL automatically, and know when the database needs to be updated with new information, this way we get 100% of the data. Similar to the novell product ZAM, but better. We have ZAM but it is vvery limited, we cactullay use hyena for most of our reports, but ZAM has a nice feature that it queries and autosaves to a DB nightly.

Hyena can't run automatically, but you could use Exporter Pro (included with Hyena). It supports running from a command line and could be scheduled using Windows Task Scheduler. It produces a delimited text file output that you can import into a database.

    Workstations that are off

If pc's are off and you're asked to do a report, you can't get 100% accuracy. Can hyena run your report daily and save the data to a database like SQL so you have access to all of the data at all times? This way if a machine is off you still have the relevant information. Thanks
