RPC error copying printers

I'm trying to use the Copy Printer fuction and when I select the target server I get the error "Unable to add printer. RPC server is unavailable" The source server is Windows 2000 and the target server is Windows 2003. The RPC service is running on both servers. Any ideas?

Are you able to view everything on the target computer from Hyena? Such as a list of printers, users, etc.

Actually, no - I tried it and got "Unable to list printers on \\serverx, Error=1722. The RPC server is unavailable".

I did check to make sure the RPC service was running - any thoughts on what else to check?

Yes, that article helped - I had the same problem as user menglert - there were no printers configured on the target server. I created a dummy printer and was able to access the server and copy printers. Thanks very much for your help.
