  • Report not reflecting List Window

Recently I upgraded to Hyena 6.5. The upgrade went fine. The upgrade may have nothing to do with my current problem.

I've never had any problem running reports that simply reflect what's in the list window. However now when I generate a report (in this case user detail) I'm not getting an accurate reflection of what's in the list window.

The generate report asks me to name a table, when I do name a table such as test, I can't find the test table and I don't get any report. If I search through the existing tables such as user list or user detail, there is old data. Can you tell me whats going on? I'm running XP and Access 2003.

It sounds like something has happened to your copy of the database. Find a file named hyenarpt.mdb in your Hyena directory. Rename it to *.sav or something, then run Hyena's setup again. See if that puts the database file back in, then try running a report.

I unistalled and reinstalled. When I run a report I put the name of a table (test). When I hit OK I get a message, Microsoft Office can't find "ShowAdTable". I click OK and then all the tables and reports show up (no test table though)they still don't have any data in them.

I have the list window open with user details. Any idea what's happening here?

Send an email to [email protected] and I'll email you a copy of the database in your version of Access to see if it fixes this for you.
