Enumerating group membership

Hyena does a good job of exporting group membership and many of their associated attributes, but one thing eludes me. If a group has another group inside of it, hyena will enumerate users on the root of the group, but will not enumerate the nested group, is there a way to enumerate group membership regaardless of group nesting?

Hyena will export the members, but won't expand out nested groups memberships. You would have to expand this out from the output using something like Access.

No, not at this time. Are you trying to do this interactively, with Hyena, or with the Exporter Pro utility ?

We've added the capability in Hyena v6.5 (in beta now) to list the members interactively in the left window, but we don't have any method of doing this interactively in the right window to show all members, regardless of whether they are into other groups.

Thanks for the replies. I am a new comer to the Hyena scene.

I am trying to export using Hyena, which invokes the exportor PRO utility.

I think that I can add a checkbox on the Options button (enabled when you modify the properties of a AD group export, to "export nested group members".

I can enable this on the current beta of Exporter Pro v1.7, which you can join the beta list by sending a blank email to [email protected]
