  • Importing Computers into Exporter Pro

I have a text file with computer names on each line. I want to run Exporter Pro on each of these computers. When trying to run the export I get an error saying "Missing "ObjectFile" setting in configuration file. The object file path and name must be set under Configuration->Properties->General." I can't find this setting.

Do I need to change the format of the text file I am using?

Are you running it interactively, or through command line? If by command line, what syntax are you using to run it?

OK I found the setting... the Error Message sent me down the wrong path. I had to add the file to Configuration->Export Properties->File Locations and add the file to Object File Name. This error message should probably be changed in the next version.

I am running Exporter Pro interactively.

Anytime... boss just approved the purchase! Thanks for all your help. This software has literally saved my company hundreds of hours of manually getting all this info from our workstations.
