  • Query what services run as administrator

I am getting ready to change my administrators password, but we have many services that depen on it. Is there a way to querey AD and find what is dependent on Administrator?

Basically you have to export service information for all services on your servers/computers, then sort the output file by startup account. From there you can easily see which services on which computers are using Administrator.

Exporter Pro is your best bet, as you can select what you want to export against in Hyena then go to Tools->Exporter Pro->Export Selected Objects. Click the Settings button, configure the Services export and run that.

once I find these services, can I reset the passwords this way? I dont think the services passwords change with a password change, although, this would be ideal.
      Server 2003...any ideas

Not with this process, but you can select computers in Hyena's right window, right-click and choose More Functions->Service Startup. This process will allow you to change the service account password for one service across multiple computers at once.
