  • Macro Error When Attempting to Generate Report

When I attempt to generate a report via Hyena 6.0 "Tools - Generate Report" it launches MS Access 2003 however I then receive an error message that reads:

"The macro (or the macro group) doesn't exist, or the macro is new and has not been saved. Note that when you enter the macrogroupname.macroname, syntax in an argument , you specify the name the macro's macro group was last saved under"

Due to this error message I have been unable to generate any Access reports.

    Please assist.

I can't duplicate this error, so after you get this error, stay in Access, select (in Access) Tools->Options->Advanced.

Report back the contents of the command-line arguments field.

Re: Macro Error When Attempting to Generate Report

Look in your Hyena directory and see if you have a file called hyenarpt.mdb.v40. If you do, rename your existing hyenarpt.mdb to *.old, and rename the hyenarpt.mdb.v40 to hyenarpt.mdb and try running a report again.
