  • Groups within groups

    Hi,

I have a bit of a question about reporting that I do not seem able to resolve by reviewing help, these forums or by just by experimenting.

I have 1 global group that contains users and other groups, I would like to get an extract in one report of all members in the top level group and all the members of the group that are also in the next level group.

    for exanple:

    GroupA--
    UserA
    UserB
    GroupB--
    UserC
    UserD
    GroupC--
    UserE
    UserF

I know how to do this manually but it would be nice if I could export all of this information via a report or some such, (maybe a macro would help?)

Any assistance with this would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Shaun

Unfortunately there's no way to have it expand out this way.

You would probably have to export members of all groups, then view them that way. For 2000 domains you can also select groups in the right window and right-click and choose View Group Members to see the members at once for all selected groups.
