this post relates to my previous post on searching workstations on the domain for installed programs, such as hotbar. I tried your method, and it works, although s-l-o-w-l-y.
I have a W/S with hotbar installed. When I search the reg using "hotbar" I find entries such as "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{013A48 2E-1893-4f49-8D41-AC89156A6955}\InprocServer32"
with a string value of "C:\Program Files\Hotbar\bin\4.3.5.0\HbCoreSrv.dll"
So, my question is this...When creating a custom template to search for this specific key, what values do I put in the "Registry Key Paths" and "Registry Value Names" on the Registry Export Template Properties page????
Please pretend your talking to an end user and give me some step by step guidance...
Thanks guys..
chris
