Reporting Documentation

I have installed hyena recently and only little knowledge how to use it. First I want to report my ous, users, groups and computers only. It seems to be very difficult to do so and the help and documentation are not helpfull at all.

Would you rather do this interactively or in a more batch/non-interactive way ? This sort of depends upon the size of your domain.

Hi, I want to do it interactivly first; when I see the way how it works, I can do more sophisticated tasks. Are there any dokumentations, manuals either as real books or odf-files ? Thank you for your help.

The interactive method that is easiest to use is to just display anything in the right window, then select what you want (or Control-A to select everything), then select Control-C (Edit->Copy) to display options to either copy the selected data to a file or the clipboard.

Another option is to select one or more items in either window and select Tools->Exporter Pro->Export Selected Objects. There is a section in the help file for Exporting that explains this last option in more detail.
