Reporting Software

Hello,

it might be possible that I don't understand the Help for exporting the installed software. When I enter the registry key paths like HKLM\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\*, I hoped to get all the informations of installed software on each PC. But the output file is only 1KB and there is nothing but the headline.

Can somebody help me? Thank you.

That key path won't work. It should look like HKLM\Software\*

Hello and thank you, but when I enter HKLM\Software\*, I get the message: "Exporting 'Installed Software Applications' from registry ... Unable to open registry software key on .....

Send a copy of your RegTemplates.CFG file to [email protected].

I don't understand why you are trying to create your own registry entry when there is already a pre-defined template for Installed Software, under the Registry exporting properties. The registry key is Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstal l

Thank you. I just looked into this file and I found the mistake: OutputKeys=HKLM\Software\*\* ....
