Exporter taking a long time or hanging

I am just evaluating right now. The first thing I wanted to do was to export all my users and provide me with a consolidated view of last logon based on the PDC and all the BDC's on our network. When I start the exporter, I get the PDC then the BDC at my location, then when it moves on to the next BDC (at another location) it takes a very long time and seems to have frozed up. How long should I have to wait for this to run at a WAN connected site? I have waited about 2 hours.

This is an NT4 Domain.

One thing to test would be to try and view Users on that BDC in Hyena to see how long it takes to retrieve users from that computer.

Try viewing users by expanding the BDC in Hyena's left window, then double-clicking on Users.

Or, you can right-click on the domain and choose Set Source Domain Controller and enter the name of the BDC there.
