  • reporting networked printers

I'm trying to get a report on networked printers. Now that we can report on registry entries I thought that was possible. I've select registry hive HKEY_CURRENT_USERS and the path Printers\Connections. I don't get any data. I've put in %value% and %Key_Name%, but I only get the "header" information.

    Thanks.

Send a screen shot of the registry template you configured to [email protected]

I'm trying to do the same thing, the key in question varies by user.

      Here's an example HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-241263373-591220092-1541874228-1416\Printers\Connections

Is there a way to wildcard the S-1-5-21-241263373-591220092-1541874228-1416 portion of the key?

Rather than trying to get to this through the registry, you may want to try WMI. You can try using WMI CIM Studio from Microsoft's WMI Tools to see if a class is available for this information.

I'm having the same thing happen with my query for network printers.
Is there a way around this.
I can provide a screenhot if required.

          Thank you.
