Can Heyena analize pcs and tell me the software installed & versions?

Want to know all pcs with Microsoft Office XP 2003 installed? or other such question.

The latest versions of Hyena include Exporter Pro which allows you to export Installed Software on all of your computers.

NEW USER. NEW TO MICROSOFT SERVERS.
I am sorry, but I have exporter and cannot figure out how it is supposed to work.
I can see it export as it goes thru all the pcs on the network, but I cannot find anything when I look in the database.
I need STEP BY STEP instructions and don't know where to find them. Looking here in the forum has helped a lot, but I still have lots of questions.
HOW DO I GET STARTED testing things out.
Any suggestions?

Since you are evaluating Hyena, go ahead and download v5.7 from our site, as the integration with Exporter has changed.

You'll select your computers in Hyena that you want this information reported on, then go to Tools->Exporter Pro->Export Selected Objects.

Click the Settings button where you will choose the information you want exported. For installed software, click on Registry, then Export Properties.

Check the box beside Installed Software Applications then click the Properties button so you can see what will be exported and to what file.

Click OK and then Close to return to the Export Selected Objects dialog, then click Start Export.

When finished you can open the file with Excel for further sorting and reporting.

I tried your directions.
Everything worked fine. I am able to get to a lot more information then before.
I am sure there is a lot more to learn and discover. Thanks for your help. I will say that you have a very good forum with expert speedy replies.
