  • Global Groups & Members of Each Global Group

I am trying to get a listing of our global groups and the individual users that belong to those groups. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

If this is a Windows 2000 domain you can select your groups in the right window, then right-click and choose View Group Members.

I want to get a listing of all groups with all members of each group in one listing. I see how you view one group at a time. Can I export a list of all global groups with all members to each global group in one report?

In the right window you can select as many groups as you like by Ctrl-clicking on them. Then right-click and choose View Group Members. This will list the members for all selected groups in the right window.

You can then do a Ctrl-a to select this information, then a Ctrl-c to open the Copy List Window and save to a delimited text file.

After all the groups are on the right hand side, I Ctrl click on some of the groups, then I right click and the View All Users is greyed out???

Right-click over the selected groups in the right window and choose View Group Members.

Ok. I didn't read. This is not a Windows 2000 domain. Going there, but not there yet.

Ok. We are part on an NT domain and part in to AD. We have moved the groups over to the AD side. When I get a listing of all groups, it shows all OU's global groups. How do you sort to just your OU.

Go to Containers/OUs and drill down to the OU you are interested in. You can double-click it to display the objects in the right window.
