Exporting

Hi, last time I used Hyena and ran an export, it was so straight forward. Now when I run it, I get an error saying that it's "Missing ObjectFile" setting in configuation file. The object path and name must be set under Configuration...etc. Export Terminated. If I click OK, it takes me to this Exporter box. I've since upgraded from something like 5.1 to 5.5 rev 'B'. Where did the simple export tool go that I loved so much?

The beta version of Hyena has simplified the process a quite a bit, and also now gives you the option to choose between the new Exporter Pro and the old exporter.

If you would like to test that version you can send a blank email to [email protected] and you'll get instructions on how to download it.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can't I just use the old exporter though? That's all I really want to use.

The next version of Hyena will include the 'new' upgraded Exporter Pro, plus also provide a way to run the old version. We will also update Hyena v5.5 to also run the old exporter.

So in the meantime, if you want the GUI that was in Hyena under File->Export to run the OLD exporter, you need the beta. We'll release the new version and the patch for v5.5 in a about 3 weeks.
