    Re: Exporting Domain Users

I will certainly let you know about my experience with the last logon feature in the Beta. My preference is to use AD Exporting and get away from the NT4 functions.

If you have an Active Directory domain, you will need to use the Active Directory templates to export data from an AD domain. We absolutely will not, cannot, won't, and can't continue to use NT 4.0 functions when getting AD data as was done in the past. While AD is more complicated to work with, the NT functions are too limited and in the long run, unsafe to use in an AD environment.</span></div></div>

Thank you. I will try this out. My preference is to use AD Exporting if I can get the most recent last logon.

    Exporting Domain Users

I have a mixed mode Windows 2000 AD domain. In the past I could export users from each doamin controller by using the NT4 domain name but since I have upgraded to Hyena 5.5 this no longer works. I selected the option for "only export Domain users" but it enumerates all nodes in the domain instead of just domain controllers. When I try the AD Export it does not enumerate all domain controllers and appears to only provide data from my local DC. I need to get an accurate most recent "last logon" for all users. I used DUMPSEC utility but I cannot get a report in columar format to import to an Excel worksheet. Any suggestions or feedback?
