  • Exporting to excel

Here’s a simple tip for anyone using Exporter pro that wants to use the results in excel.

First click configuration-properties-Export properties-output and change the output line terminator to \r (i.e. delete \n)

This will mean there won't be any blank rows in excel when you import it - make sorting a lot easier

Now make sure that the output file name for each export you do ends with .xls

It still outputs a delimited text file, but will load straight into excel when you double-click on it

    Hope this helps.
