I am trying to use the free utility DumpSec at http://www.systemtools.com/free_frame.htm to get a list of the last logon of users from all of our DCs. When I run a user report, include Last Logon, and check the box to Show Last True Logon, the program gives me an illegal operation and closes. I tried it repeatedly, and also from different systems, but each time the application closes. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Which report are you running, and what are the exact fields and order of these fields? I'll see if I can duplicate the situation. DumpSec is used quite extensively in many different environments, and nothing has changed in this area. -

I open up DumpSec and go to Report...Select Computer... and enter our PDC. I then go to Report...Dump Users as Table... and enter the following criteria: UserName, FullName, and LastLogonTime. I also have Show normal user accounts and Show "true" last logon time checked. Then the program starts to run, and it appears to go through a part of our domain user list, but then it comes up with the application error and closes. Hope this helps. I can only assume it is running into a user account with some data it can't handle. I was unable to reproduce this, and we've had no other reports of it, so I'm not sure what to recommend to help you troubleshoot this.Comment

Do you know what type of data it would be unable to handle? I can then investigate this further. I do see a couple of accounts show up in the lower left corner of the application as it is processing before it closes. I will look at them first. Any other insight on the type of data to look for would be appreciated. If I find the answer I will be sure to post it here.
