  • access violation

    Running a report for only services. I get the bwelow access violation error:

    Exporter.exe
    Exception: access violation error (0xc0000005), address (0x77f2bbc5)

    Any one any ideas.

    Thanks

    Re: access violation

    Assuming that this does not take too long to reproduce, find the export.ini file and modify/add these two lines in the file (they can be anywhere in the [General] section)

    Verbose=1
    VeryVerbose=1

    See if you can determine when the access violation happens which computer is being processed. You would need to get this information from the exporter window, and not the output file as Windows caches a great deal of output to files.

    We are also working on a new (rewrite) of the Exporter facility and ironically the exporting of services has already been redeveloped. If you want on the beta list, send an empty email to [email protected].

    The new 'Exporter' utility would probably have this same problem, but its logging facilities are superior.
