Is it possible to report on installed hotfixes using HYENA

You can do this by either right-clicking on a computer and choosing Properties, or by going to File->Export->Computers and export the information. Make sure you check the box to Export Computer Properties.

Is there a limit on the number of systems you can export? I have over 500 in a resource domain and it seems to export only those that show active ( are highlighted ). There are systems shown grayed out that are in fact on and reachable only they don't get expoted. Can you help?

Exporter uses the Windows Browse List to get it's list of computers. Since they are showing up as gray in Hyena, that means they aren't on the browse list for some reason, which is why they are missing from the export.

One thing that you can do is to use the Generate Macro function along with the command line exporter.exe.

To do this you will select all of your computers in Hyena's right window, then go to Tools->Generate Macro.

Enter in a Macro Command String of:

exporter.exe .\export.ini domain %E%

Enter an output file name of:

c:\program files\hyena\computers.bat

Click OK.

Go to the Command Prompt and change into your Hyena directory and you'll see a batch file called computers.bat that you can run.
