I am trying to list which individuals or groups have access to drives/Directories/Subdirectories on all servers. The only way I can find of doing this is to go into the individual shares and View NTFS Security. Is there a quicker and better way of doing this??

Re: Permissions on Dir's
This would be your only option. You can start at the D$, E$, etc shares, though and you will get all files, directories and sub-directories below that point. For example if all user home drives are on the E: drive of your file server, then run this on the E$ share.

Maybe Security Explorer by Small Wonders Software can do this for you. www.smallwonders.com

Re: Permissions on Dir's
You can select the shares in Hyena's right window, and then select the "View NTFS security option". But Security Explorer from Small Wonders will certainly do the trick. That program is dedicated to just doing this one function.Kevin Stanush
