  • Last Logon-Report from all DC's

I have run a report to view last logon however when I spot check it seems it only reports from the PDC. Is there a way for it to show truely the last logon for each user? We are trying to clean up our accounts before upgrade to AD this weekend.

When you are looking at All User Details, this information is coming from the PDC. You can right-click on the user and choose View Logon Information, and then click the Check All Controllers button.

If you need this for a large number of users you can use DumpSec from our Free Tools section at http://www.systemtools.com/free_frame.htm.

When you run the user report in DumpSec there is a checkbox to Show Last True Logon that will cause it to query all controllers.

Thanks for the tool it seems to provide the information I need, however is there a way to select our domain or all dc's? Or do I have to run on each dc separately?

You can specify a computer to run against, but if you are looking for last logon, checking that option will query all controllers in your domain for you.
