  • reporting to ms access database

Is there a way to grab all the domain global groups and their members and report that information to an ms access database without having to select each global group and selecting all it's members, and then "run report" tools option one at a time? I want to be able to also get share information for certain servers of the domain, and send it to the access database, but not all servers of the domain.

    thanks,
    Hina

The other option is to use the Export Members function under File->Export->Members. This will create a delimited text file of all groups and their members that you can import into Excel or Access.

The field names may not match what is being sent to the database that is shipped with Hyena so you will have to create your own database. This can be done using the wizards provided with Access.

However, it still would be nice if we are able to choose what servers/what information we want to report (output to Access database)! Do you think that any future release could include that?
