  • exporter.exe

I am working on getting a PO for Hyena for my use on our LAN. I am unable to run exporter.exe from within Hyena. I need to export and print out from the numerous domains we have. Is this a registered ONLY feature? I have registered this product several times with each company that I have worked for so I really would appreciate some help on this. I have 24 days left on my eval copy. Thanks

    Re: exporter.exe

Hyena's eval is fully-functional and is only time-limited.

Are you getting errors when trying to run the Exporter? If you are getting an error that it can't find exporter.exe, make sure that the icon you are using to start Hyena has the working directory set to the Hyena install directory.

If this is set properly and Hyena still can't find it then change the command line under File->Export->General to the full path, such as:
    c:\program files\hyena\exporter.exe

      Re: exporter.exe

I just installed the eval and am trying to run the exporter with a similar problem. I have set the full path, and the exporter appears to run (at least a command window flashes on the screen) yet there is no file created and no error message.

      Any ideas?

        Re: exporter.exe

        Try this command line:

        c:\program files\hyena\exporter.exe "c:\program files\hyena\export.ini"

Let us know what happens after you change to that command line.

          Re: exporter.exe

That solved it. Was the problem that it didn't know where to look for the ini file?

          Thanks for your help.
