  • Dumpsec hogged my system memory

I'm attempting to run the following dumpsec command:
    c:"program files"\systemtools\DUMPSEC.EXE /rpt=groupscol /outfile=d:\groups\Allgr.TXT /saveas=fixed /noheader /computer=domaincontr01

Problem is that is does not give me any output. I am running it directly on my domain controller too. Last week I ran it a couple times and it ended up hogging up my system memory on my domain controller. Is there something wrong with that script? Is there a dumpsec command-line reference somewhere out there?

The only reference we have is DumpSec's own help file. You might look at all of the command line options there to make sure nothing is missing. As a quick test I tried your command and it worked for me, so I'm not sure what is different on your end.
