Disjoining and Joining a PC

Hi All,

By using the trial version of this tool I was able to change the local admin password on this PC and then I disjoined this PC from the domain and rejoined and now when I
run the tool against this PC it fails to change the local admin password and says ...Access Denied!!!

Why, how can this be corrected?

Any body came across this, it clearly seems a windows issue but how can be this fixed?

I assume that when you removed the computer from the domain, you either removed the computer entry in Hyena and/or locally used Control Panel to join the computer to a workgroup.

I suspect that the computer is either not a member of the domain (easy to check), or the local administrators local group on the computer does not have the Domain Admins group in it from the domain.

You can add the domain Domain Admins group in by right clicking on the computer in Hyena, selecting Logon As, entering in the administrator account/password, then managing the local Administrators group.
