  • How do I export?? Possible bug...

    Hi guys,

I'm getting an error when I try to run Exporter pro in Hyena.

When I click Tools ->Exporter Pro ->Run Exporter Pro then "OK" at the prompt, I get an application error from stexport.exe "The instruction at '0x7c901010' referenced memory at '0x00000034' The memory could not be read"

Any idea as to what could be causing this?

Oh, also I get an error when I try to use Exporter pro to "Export Selected Objects..." I get the message "Unable to open Hyena configuration file 'C:\Program Files\Hyena\HYENA_EXPORTER_PRO.DAT'"

    HELP!!

    Thanks =)
    Nathan

How are you running Hyena? Did you install the full install? What version are you running?

      Thanks for the response.

I'm running Hyena version 6.3 in Windows XP. We've had our workstations replaced with new ones, and the new infrastructure does not give us admin access on our machines.

I used to just run the exporter from the command prompt, but that has been disabled too. =(

I'm pretty sure I have the Full install.

      Thanks,
      Nathan

It may be due to the way your system is locked down. You shouldn't need to be an admin to run Exporter or Hyena, but
you might need to be an admin to install it. And, to run both you need to be able to copy files and create directories on your computer.

I was afraid of that. Thanks for the help anyways =)

I'll speak to my evil overlords to see what they can do about my access level.

          Thanks.
