DC's not accessible after addition

Hi,

I have the following domains yyy.zzz, bbb.yyy.zzz and aaa.yyy.zzz. (all Windows 2000)

I am a member of aaa.yyy.zzz and can access everything fine, I have added the domain yyy.zzz through the object manager and can access everything in that domain fine. I then added bbb.yyy.zzz and although the DC's appear and pass the ping test, I cannot see, eg, services, disk space and so on - I get RPC server unavailable and can see the ping test which worked 2 seconds ago now showing as failed.

If I add the DC's in as Windows 2000 servers I can access everything perfectly so I'm sure it's not a permissions/login problem.

Any ideas?

I'm running Hyena 6.5.0

RPC errors are typically communication failures of some sort. As a quick test, go to Tools->Active Directory and check the box to Use DNS Computer Paths. If it is checked, uncheck it.

Restart Hyena after that change and try accessing that domain again and see if that makes any difference.
