  • Unable to connect to registry of ....

What causes the above error when attempting to connect to a machine. I can ping the machine and it is a Windows 95 machine.

    Thanks,
    Ed

What is the rest of the error message?

The rest of the error was "the network path was not found".

I also sometimes get "unable to open network resource. The network path was not found".

What are the limitations of Hyena when it comes to 95/98 clients?

That error basically means there is a problem connecting to the remote computer. The problem may be that it is a 95 computer, but we don't have any of those any more to test this.

Try getting to the registry on a 2000/NT/XP computer and see if you have any success.
