service pack in Software properties

I've installed Office 2000 sp3 on some machines, but it isn't showing up in the Softwere tab of Properties. The version number changes, but it still stays as SR1. Any way to change this?

This information comes from the registry. Look under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then:

Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstal l.

Find the application name, then see what is shown for DisplayVersion.

You might be able to use the WMI query in v6.0 for Installed Applications to get a different picture.
