Re: XP computer is not accessible
Finally I got the right idea
The solution is very easy, as it always is.. ;-)
Control Panel - Administration Tools - Local Security Settings - Local policies - Security options - "Network Access:Share model and local accounts security"
- change the value to "Classical - Local users are authenticated as themselves"
(The default value was set to: ...authenticated as Guest account)
Sorry for mistakes - I work with the localized vers. of WinXP so I had to translate it from czech to english lang.)

That's possible, but unfortunately I'm not sure where you would need to look.

Re: XP computer is not accessible
Both are running. And that's the mistery.
(Firewall is off, services are running similar to my W2000)
Oh, what about the Policies settings - any idea?

I believe you'll need File and Print Sharing running, and some functions will require that the Remote Registry service be running.

XP computer is not accessible
I'm using Hyena v 4.5 on Win2000. When trying to access a WinXP computer I get an error message with Access denied. Unfortunately I cannot try to connect to another WinXP comp., because there is only 1 in our LAN.
Can you tell me, please, what services should I start or stop {or anything else :-) ) to get the access to the XP computer?
