Re: Feature Request Regedit Permissions
I did a bit of a quick search and found an item that you may be able to interface with on this side. Source Forge has a project called SetACL. They have it in the form of an OCX to allow programatic interfaceing.
Please bear in mind that I have not actually read the liscenseing agreement in detail to check the legality of incorporating this. It is released under GPL Ver2.
If useing the OCX is not possible, you can simply provide a dialog interface to the command line system using a similar thought to the way you did the RCM.
This may be a 'mean-time' solution as well.
Thanks for your consideration of this idea.

Re: Feature Request Regedit Permissions
The registry security functions are a bit complicated and underdocumented. I can't say for such when and if we will support registry security editting.

Feature Request Regedit Permissions
I LOVE the new V5! Thanks many great new features. Would it be possible to change permissions on registry keys via the registry display in Hyena?
Thanks again for all the great stuff!!! Keep it up!Tags: None
