Hyena does not have any control over this. When the workstation boots, it reports its own name, comment, and type which gets added to the browse list. Its a complex topic. It could even be that your own workstation is gettings its own list from an inappropriate location, so first try rebooting your own computer.

Anyone have any idea why I am getting many, many types "unknown" in Hyena for computer - Both worstations and servers.

I know Hyena uses the browse list but whcih entry gives the "TYPE" to WINS?
