I am trying to create and set permissions on home directories for existing users using Hyena 6.6B. Many of the users do not have home directories set.
I have created a template that matches what I want the home directory settings to look like and when I choose it, I receive "Unable to lookup account on server holycross for account Administrators. The RPC server is unavailable."
I cannot figure out why this doesn't work. I have tried this using Hyena on my XP SP2 workstation and I've even installed Hyena on a domain controller and it still occurs.
Template Name: Default
New Home Directory Mask: \\domain\files\users\%username%
Drive: U:
Home Directory (NTFS) Security Settings:
domain\%username% Change
domain\Admininstrators Full
- Overwrite existing directory security
- Verify before overwriting existing security
Ownership:
- Set the ownership to be the Administrators group
Inheritance:
- Inherit all security settings from parent
I cannot seem to figure out why this is happening. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
