Send message

Scenario:
Hyena 6.0 OS: Windows Xp Pro Italian

I'm not able to send message to any computers.
The error is:
"Unable to send message to "pc_name" Do you wish to see error message displayed? Impossible to find any alias for the message network.

I clic yes but any message appears on the video

Pls could you help me. Thanks in advance

Go to a command prompt and type this command:

net send computername test

put in place of computername the name of the computer that you are trying to send to.

If you get the same error, then make sure the messenger service is running on the remote computer.
