folders not being created

Hey all,

Please forgive the reallly basic question which I'm sure has been covered ad nauseum..

I've bulk created a number of users using Win2k's "Adduser.exe" utility and now want Hyena to create all the home directories and sort out the shares and security.

I've set up my home directory template using the "\\servername\%username%" convention, set the share directory local mask to "d:\users\%username%" and the remote mask to "\\servername\%username%".

In the user properties I then set the "profile - connect" box to "\\servername\%username", get prompted for the template, then get the error:

"unable to create directory: Error 53, network path was not found"

and no new home directory folders have been created.

Any help really appreciated!

Change your Share Directory Remote Mask to:

\\server\d$\users\%username%

Let us know what that does.

That is the proper syntax for that field. You must give it the full path to the location you want the directory created.
